New Bali International Airport
2014
Bali, Indonesia

The Airport, located off the north coast of Bali, will act as a new regional hub to support tourism development.
Working with Airports Kinesis Consulting with KC&I developed the scheme provides an alternative to Denpasar International Airport in south Bali.
The island scheme acts as a small harbour for local boats including tourists and fishing vessels. The scheme also creates an artificial lagoon suitable for mangroves and spawning fish.
The tripartite scheme is based on the Hindu and Balinese mantra of Ti Hita Karana or God Man Nature.
The airport is infused with courtyards and green areas which help to bring nature into the very heart of the scheme.
