MYAA is looking for a qualified and experienced Interior Architect to lead international projects. They should have a minimum of 4 years’ experience in the design management of architectural projects and concepts, including the oversight of resources and staff, the coordination of clients and consultants, organisation of all project stages, and experience on-site. Excellent written and spoken English skills are essential.

Job Description for this Interior Architect Role

• Strong international interior design and planning experience
• Lead detailed and comprehensive drawing packages from concept to tender to construction detailing
• Project management on site from concept to completion
• Coordinate with clients, suppliers, manufacturers, site contractors and consultants
• Global knowledge to lead FF&E specifications and packages

Experience and qualifications:

• minimum 4 years’ experience post-qualification as an Interior designer, leading the delivery of complex global projects
• An interior designer degree or equivalent
• previous experience in developing all the project design stages for a large-scale project.
• highly experienced in project team coordination of all the project disciplines involved in a large-scale project.
• specialist knowledge in the luxury international residential sector and cultural sector preferred.

Skills:

• strong experience leading multi-disciplinary project teams effectively and efficiently
• strong technical skills across all RIBA design stages or equivalent and significant site experience
• excellent drawing, modelling, and visualisation skills; proficiency in Rhino, 3D modelling, BIM environment
• excellent understanding of the project development process of all project stages from Concept to Technical Stages. Clear understanding of all project package content applicable for each project stage.
• excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
