Mekkah Hotel Complex

The twin tower development consists of an apartment building and hotel. The ground floor area will be used as a shopping mall to serve the Umm Al Qura district of Makkah on rapidly urbanizing the outer ring of the city.The Hotel and Shopping Mall scheme for Umm-Al Qura area of Mecca was developed as a new urban “landscape”, one which is related intimately to the mountains and hills of Mecca.
The design project comprises a Shopping mall building with two tower hotels. The podium provides the two levels of shopping. The undulations in the podium roof are in two locations only at the front and back to define entry points. The remaining roof area is flat and will be used for hotel amenities and it helps reduce the cost of the shopping mall scheme.
